Things I’m grateful for this month:

  • Good health, a body that pretty much does what I demand of it and serves me well
  • Great friends and family – enough said!
  • Work I like and that makes a difference to peoples’ lives
  • Blue sky, green foliage, flowers and warm weather into the evening
  • Tigger – bouncy, bouncy, bouncy (and Pooh, Eeyore and Piglet)
  • A perfectly ripe, blemish-free avocado
  • Pubs (I do call the UK home) the social aspect, the gardens, the pub quizzes, the sports
  • Good books, magazines, shows, movies, music, poems, comedians, entertainment – creative people who share with the world
  • Resources and resourcefulness
  • Thought leaders and role-models
  • Magic – just because
  • Smiles – especially sharing one with a stranger
  • Nature – outdoors, especially after a 10 mile hike yesterday in the Chilterns
  • Luck, serendipity, synchronicity, sourcing
  • A good night’s sleep – especially as other women I know are struggling with sleeplessness
  • Tea – builder’s with milk
  • Everyone being patient, tolerant, accepting, courteous, having grace
  • Love
  • Food – eating it, being nourished/fuelled by it and making it (brunch is a fave)
  • Thank you notes – giving them and getting them (postal/snail mail in general is nice)
  • Laughter
  • Technology (except when I’m not grateful)
  • And so much more……
