So many people I know have been fighting various colds, flus etc this winter/spring. I thought I had resisted by eating healthy, drinking water, getting plenty of sleep, taking my vitamins and washing my hands diligently. No luck. This last week I found myself fighting that coldy feeling, continuing to try and combat the feeling with vitamin C and echinacea.
It’s amazing how the body knows when to it has to work and when it doesn’t. The coldy feeling lingered in the background while I went about my work commitments through the week. I vacillated between taking it easy and resting and trying to prepare for my work commitments. It wasn’t until work ended Friday afternoon that my voice disappeared!
How often do you push through a cold, an ache, or a thought? When should you surrender to your mind and body? And when should you push through?
