All nurses should have life coaching or a mentor to help them reach their career potential, the former Director of Nursing claimed at RCN Job Fair early this September. Paulette Lewis, who has over 30 years’ experience working for the NHS, said that life coaching would increase staff’s confidence and improve their career prospects.
She explained that life coaching can have a huge impact on the lives of staff and could help individuals and groups combat negative thoughts with positive thoughts and actions.
I have worked with numerous different clients who have come from different industries. I believe staff from all industries can benefit from life coaching as it allows individuals and groups to work to the best of their ability, improving the work the industry does over all. Some of the clients I have worked for include Nestle, Lancome Paris and Skanska. No matter the size of your company, everyone can benefit from executive life coaching.
Do you think staff should have life coaching in your industry? Have you considered life coaching for your team or yourself? Group or individual executive coaching is designed to help staff be the best staff they can be by discovering their unique skills, building confidence, and working well as a team.
DIRECTions coaching’s executive coaching can improve leadership skills, increase employee retention and engagement, focus thinking and strategy and retain the best talent. Life coaching can directly affect business results, leading to a positive brand and a higher turnover. The CIPD’s Training and Development Survey recently found that 92% regarded executive coaching as “effective” or “very effective”.
